Data Sync Error
Your data is not snycing to analytra or the connection fails? This section helps you handling the most common reasons data syncs fail.
Wrong Inputs Connecting the Data Source
Mistakes can happen, so it may also happen that when connecting a data source an input is wrong. Make sure that you follow the Setup Guide while connecting and double check the inputs like Account ID, API Key and others.
How to fix:
- Go to "Connect Data"
- Delete the data source, which is failing, from the connected sources table
- Connect the data source again and follow the Setup Guide
- Double-Check the inputs
Wrong Account Authentication
One common reason, that data syncs are failing is that the used account for the oAuth process has no access to the requested account or organization you are trying to access. Make sure that the account used for authentication has access to the organization in the data source.
How to fix:
- Go to "Connect Data"
- Delete the data source, which is failing, from the connected sources table
- Check if your account has access to the data source
- Connect the data source again and follow the Setup Guide
Authentication Account does not have Permissions
In some data sources it is required, that the used account has Admin permissions in the data source (tool) you want to connect. If your account does not have the required permissions to connect the data source the sync may fail.
How to fix:
- Go to "Connect Data"
- Delete the data source, which is failing, from the connected sources table
- Check your permissions in the data source you want to connect
- Connect the data source again and follow the Setup Guide
