Meta Ads Setup Guide

Meta Ads allows you to connect your Meta Business account to track your ad performance.

Prerequisites

• A Meta Business Account
• Admin access to the Meta Account
• Account ID of the Meta Account you want to connect

Finding your Meta Account ID

1. Login to your Meta for Business
2. Open Ads Manager
3. Your advertising account ID will appear above the search and filter bar in the account drop-down menu

Connecting Meta Ads to Analytra

1. In Analytra, go to "Connect Data" in the left sidebar
2. Click the "Connect" button in the table for Meta Ads
3. Click "Authenticate with Meta Ads"
4. You'll be redirected to Facebook's OAuth consent screen
5. Login to your Meta Ads Facebook Account
6. Grant the requested permissions
7. After successful authentication, add the Account ID and connect

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

1. OAuth Connection Failed
   • Ensure you're using the correct Facebook account
   • Check if you have admin access to the Facebook Ads account
   • Try clearing your browser cache and cookies
2. Invalid Account ID
   • Make sure to use the format XXXXXXXXXX
   • Verify you have access to this Account ID
   • Check if the account is active and not suspended

Security Note

Your Facebook Ads credentials are encrypted and stored securely. The OAuth connection is handled directly through Facebook's authentication servers, and we never see or store your Facebook password.

Rate Limits and Data Refresh

• Data is synced daily by default
• Historical data is imported for the last 12 months by default
• API calls are optimized to respect API quotas
