Meta Ads Connector Setup Guide

Want your Meta Ads performance in Analytra (without living inside Ads Manager)? Connect once — and we'll sync your ad results automatically.

Before you start (tiny checklist)

You'll need:

• A Meta Business Account
• Admin access to that Meta account
• Your Meta Ads Account ID (the ad account you want to connect)

Find your Meta Ads Account ID

1. Log in to Meta Business / Ads Manager
2. Open Ads Manager
3. Click the account dropdown (above the search + filter bar)
4. You'll see your Ad Account ID there — copy it

Connect Meta Ads to Analytra

Okidoki — let's connect it step-by-step:

1. In Analytra, go to Connect Data (left sidebar)
2. Find Meta Ads and click Connect
3. Click Authenticate with Meta Ads
4. You'll be redirected to Meta's permission screen
5. Log in with the Facebook/Meta account that has admin access to the ad account
6. Approve the requested permissions
7. Back in Analytra, paste your:
   • Account ID: your Meta Ads Account ID
8. Click Connect to finish

Done. Sync starts.

Rate Limits and Data Refresh

• Data syncs daily by default
• We import up to the last 12 months of historical data by default (if available)
• API calls are optimized to respect Meta API limits

Troubleshooting (the usual suspects)

If the OAuth connection fails:

• Make sure you're using the correct Facebook/Meta account
• Confirm you have admin access to the Meta Ads account
• Try clearing cache/cookies or use an incognito window

If your Account ID is invalid:

• Double-check the ID is correct (digits only)
• Confirm you have access to that ad account
• Confirm the account is active (not suspended)

Security note

Your Meta Ads credentials are encrypted and stored securely. Authentication happens through Meta's own servers — we never see or store your password.
