Stripe Connector Setup Guide

Want your revenue + payment data in Analytra (without exporting reports and doing spreadsheet yoga)? Connect Stripe once — and we'll sync your Stripe data automatically.

Before you start (tiny checklist)

You'll need:

• Access to the Stripe account
• Your Stripe Account ID (starts with acct_)
• A Stripe API key (restricted, read-only)

Find your Stripe Account ID

1. Log in to Stripe
2. Go to Settings
3. Open Account Settings → Business
4. In Account details, copy your Account ID (starts with acct_)

Create your Stripe API key (restricted + read-only)

1. Log in to Stripe
2. Click Developers (top navigation)
3. Click API keys (top-left)
4. Click + Create restricted key
5. Give it a name (example: "Analytra – Read Only")
6. Set permissions to Read for all available permissions
7. Click Create key (you may need to confirm via email)

Connect Stripe to Analytra

Okidoki — let's connect it step-by-step:

1. In Analytra, go to Connect Data (left sidebar)
2. Find Stripe and click Connect
3. Enter your:
   • Account ID: acct_XXXXXXX
   • API Key: your restricted read-only key
4. Click Connect to Stripe

Done. Sync starts.

Rate Limits and Data Refresh

• Data syncs daily by default
• We import up to the last 12 months of historical data by default (if available)
• API calls are optimized to respect Stripe API limits

Troubleshooting (the usual suspects)

If your Account ID is invalid:

• Make sure it follows this format: acct_XXXXXXXX
• Confirm the Stripe account is active (not suspended)

If your API key is invalid:

• Make sure the key is active in Stripe
• Make sure the key has read access (restricted read-only)
• If in doubt, create a fresh restricted key for Analytra and try again

Your Stripe credentials are encrypted and stored securely.
