Stripe Setup Guide

This page contains the setup guide and reference information for the Stripe source connector.

Prerequisites

• Access to the Stripe account
• Stripe Account ID
• Stripe API key

Find Stripe Account ID and API Key

Find Account ID:

1. Log in to your Stripe account.
2. Navigate to Settings
3. Open Account Settings -> Business
4. In the Account details you can find your Account ID (starting with acct_****)

API Key Setup Steps:

1. Log in to your Stripe account.
2. In the top navigation bar, click Developers.
3. In the top-left corner, click API keys.
4. Click + Create restricted key.
5. Choose a Key name, and select Read for all available permissions.
6. Click Create key. You may be prompted to enter a confirmation code sent to your email address.

Connecting Stripe to Analytra

1. In Analytra, go to "Connect Data" in the left sidebar
2. Click the "Connect" button in the table for Stripe
3. Enter your Account ID
4. Enter your API Key
5. Press the button "Connect to Stripe"

Your connection is now established and data sync will start automatically. The sync may take a few minutes depending on the amount of data.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

1. Invalid Account ID
   • Make sure to use the format acct_XXXXXXXX
   • Check if the account is active and not suspended
2. Invalid API Key
   • Make sure the API Key has read access
   • Make sure the API Key is active in your account

Security Note

Your Stripe credentials are encrypted and stored securely.

Rate Limits and Data Refresh

• Data is synced daily by default
• Historical data is imported for the last 12 months by default
• API calls are optimized to respect Google Ads API quotas
