YouTube Setup Guide

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

• A Google account with administrative access to your Youtube Channel

Connecting Youtube Analytics to Analytra

1. In Analytra, go to "Connect Data" in the left sidebar
2. Click the "Connect" button in the table for Youtube Analytics
3. Click "Authenticate with Youtube Analytics"
4. You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen
5. Select the Google account associated with your Youtube account
6. Grant the requested permissions
7. After successful authentication, you can connect

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

1. OAuth Connection Failed
   • Ensure you're using the correct Google account
   • Check if you have admin access to the Youtube account
   • Try clearing your browser cache and cookies

Security Note

Your Google credentials are encrypted and stored securely. The OAuth connection is handled directly through Google's authentication servers, and we never see or store your Google password.

Rate Limits and Data Refresh

• Data is synced daily by default
• Historical data is imported for the last 12 months by default
• API calls are optimized to respect Google Ads API quotas
