YouTube Analytics

Connect YouTube Analytics to Analytra—checklist, OAuth, sync, API limits, and troubleshooting.

YouTube Connector Setup Guide

Want your YouTube performance inside Analytra (without hopping between tabs and guessing what worked)? Connect your channel once — and we'll sync your YouTube analytics automatically.

Before you start (tiny checklist)

You'll need:

  • A Google account with admin access to the YouTube channel you want to connect

Connect YouTube Analytics to Analytra

Okidoki — let's connect it step-by-step:

  1. In Analytra, go to Connect Data (left sidebar)
  2. Find YouTube Analytics and click Connect
  3. Click Authenticate with YouTube Analytics
  4. You'll be redirected to Google's permission screen
  5. Select the Google account linked to your YouTube channel
  6. Approve the requested permissions
  7. Back in Analytra, your channel will be connected and the sync will start

Rate Limits and Data Refresh

  • Data syncs daily by default
  • We import up to the last 12 months of historical data by default (if available)
  • API calls are optimized to respect YouTube/Google API limits

Troubleshooting (the usual suspects)

If the OAuth connection fails:

  • Make sure you're using the correct Google account
  • Confirm you have admin access to the YouTube channel
  • Try clearing cache/cookies or use an incognito window

Security note

Your Google credentials are encrypted and stored securely. Authentication happens through Google's own servers — we never see or store your Google password.
